1. The "Zero-Tracker" Guarantee

We respect your digital boundaries. Our codebase has been strictly audited to ensure:

NO Advertising Cookies: We do not use Google Ads, Meta Pixels, or third-party marketing trackers.
NO Cross-Site Surveillance: We do not track what you do on other websites.
NO Data Selling: We never sell your browsing habits to data brokers.

2. Strictly Necessary Storage (How we use it)

To make the CarOrbit platform fast, secure, and usable, we must store small pieces of data locally on your device. These are technically essential and cannot be disabled in our systems:

Location Matching (`carorbit_buyer_location`)

A functional cookie used exclusively to load vehicles closest to your city without delay (Zero-Latency Search). It does not track your live GPS coordinates.

Form Drafts (`carorbit-listing-draft`)

Stored in your browser's LocalStorage. If you accidentally refresh the page while uploading a car, this ensures your typed data and photos are not lost.

Authentication & Security

We use SessionStorage (`auth_flow_intent`) and secure IndexedDB tokens to keep you logged in and block malicious authentication spoofing.

UI Preferences

We remember if you have dismissed certain alerts (like KYC warnings or PWA install prompts) so we don't annoy you with repetitive pop-ups.

3. Your Browser Controls

You have the right to configure your browser to block all cookies and local storage. However, because CarOrbit relies solely on Strictly Necessary storage to function, blocking these will break core platform features. You will be unable to log in, search for cars efficiently, or upload listings.
